‘Point and line are closely interwoven with human history. A dot is the beginning of every line, every line the beginning of a drawing, a sign; in short: the beginning of spirituality.
This exhibition presents works by the artists Hayato Mizutani and Miriam Salamander, who thematise these fundamentally important elements of ‘point and line’, but interpret them in different ways in their respective works.’
The exhibition concept was developed during a year-long exchange with the art historian Franziska Straubinger, who wrote a text to accompany the exhibition.
